Malawi Trip 2017
That's 'thank you very much' in Chichewa, the national language of Malawi.
In July 14 pupils from QES were looking enough to spend time in Malawi. Mr Weston reports that the highlight of the trip was undoubtably the time spent with our friends from Tsekwe House. We had a fantastic couple with days with Sam, Eric, Ephraim, Agness and Chikondi. They made us all very welcome and were proud to show us around their home. We all went out for pizza, visited a local sugar cane processing plant, climbed to the top of Michuru Mountain and went on a mini safari!
It was a wonderful experience for our pupils to be able to see at first hand the impact that the QES community has had on the lives of those five children in Malawi. Sam, Eric, Ephraim, Agness, Chikondi and their foster mum, Anna wanted me to pass on their thanks to everyone at QES for all hard work and support.
Thanks to Mr Weston for sending the photos
