 #CUMBRIAYOUTH

The Youth Hub is a new initiative being introduced by Cumbria Job Centre aimed at young people.

It is an interactive online platform that will connect young people to employment opportunities, apprenticeships, traineeships, work experience, labour market skills advice and much more!

The service is FREE to access and will be updated on a regular basis by jobcentre plus. 

As a taster there will be a twitter hour on Thursday 1st December 2016 11:00 - 12:00 called #CUMBRIAYOUTH.

Summer Law Schools 2016

Law Summer School 2016

Part 1 will include Criminal Law, Family Law and Jurisprudence and will take place on 11th-15th July (and repeated on the 18th-22nd July). 

 Part 2 will include Contract Law, Civil Wrongs and Corporate Law and will take place on 25th-29th July (and repeated 1st-5th August).

 Part 3 will include International Law, Human Rights and Constitutional Law and will take place on 8th-12th August (and repeated 22nd-26th August).

Raising the Participation Age (RPA)

 The Government has changed the law and from the start of the 2013/14 academic year, all young people are required to continue in education or training where they should gain an accredited qualification.

 From summer 2015 this will be until the age of 18 years.
